Caregiving Basics Training III: Interdisciplinary Team
In 2020, an estimated 6.7 million people were caregivers. According to the UCLA Center for Health Policy Research, these caregivers who provided help to a friend or family member with serious illness and disability were predominantly women (57.7%). Caregivers of varying age groups face challenges in their duty of providing care on top of work, family, and other obligations.
