[Free] Caregiver Training: HCBS Part 1

Caregiving Basics Training: HCBS Training (part 1) is a foundational program designed to provide caregivers with essential knowledge and skills for working in Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) settings. Home- and Community-Based Services (HCBS) are essential for caregivers and care providers to learn because they enable the delivery of personalized, efficient, and empathetic care directly in the homes of those who need it.

That is why we are to announce the upcoming online training session “HCBS Part 1”. This training is 100% virtual and will be from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm PST on February 20, 2024.

In this training you will learn:

• The first 5 rights of individuals living in HCBS settings

  1. Access to the community

  2. Choice of setting

  3. Right to be treated well

  4. Independence

  5. Choice of services & supports

EVERYONE is invited to join. And those who attend and complete the training will earn a free certificate that will be personally emailed to you! Don’t forget to take the quiz too after the training and test how much you have learned.
