CDSS response on Contacting 9-1-1 Regulations

Kevin Gaines, Deputy Director of the Community Care Licensing Division has recently issued CDSS’ response on updating the licensing requirements for contacting 9-1-1 if an injury or other circumstance has resulted in an imminent threat to a resident's health. To ensure resident health and safety and promoting a consistent statewide policy on the use of emergency medical services, the Department has decided not to update the 9-1-1 regulations at this time.
