ANNOUNCEMENT: Introducing our New Community Partner, Dr. Maryam Toubak

We at the Ca Care Association is delighted to announce Dr. Maryam Toubak from Santa Teresa Care Villa, our new training consultant for the organization! Dr. Toubak will provide training for our residential care facility for the elderly and adult residential facilities association caregiver members.

We understand that providing quality care requires support from experts with in-depth knowledge and understanding of all aspects of team building and resident care, from safety protocols to medical treatments. We’re excited to have her join us with her expertise in this field.

Our new instructor has extensive experience and has led various community services programs for individuals with a broad spectrum of disabilities within non-profit organizations as professional mental health, in senior management positions for fifteen years. She is a Certified Life Coach. She has worked in various settings with adolescents, young adults, and families presenting with various emotional and social disturbances caused by developmental and behavioral disorders.

In addition, through our collaborative effort, she can bring a wealth of knowledge on rules, regulations, and standards related to care for individuals with disabilities. This includes understanding state requirements such as licensing, inspections, personnel qualifications, patient rights, complaints procedures, infection control measures, discharge processes, and more. They are also well-versed in the different types of services the facility provides, including assessment reviews, therapeutic interventions, clinical supervision, activity planning, and navigating systems of support.

Our training consultant also understands the importance of keeping up-to-date on all applicable laws and any changes or updates that may be necessary due to changing conditions or circumstances within the facility compliance and based on individual self-directed choices. As part of the commitment to staying compliant with the changes, they provide access to attend training provided by the organization and developed through our collaborative approach.

With our new training consultant onboard, we can provide quality training services tailored specifically to meet the needs of each residential care facility that wishes to have additional training. We are committed to helping caregiver members become competent care professionals equipped with the skills necessary to provide exceptional care for their residents while complying with all applicable laws and regulations. Our new instructors will help us accomplish these goals through their expertise and dedication.

We look forward to working together!
