LB Homeless Coalition Meetings at the Goodwill Southern Los Angeles County
Through our Ca Department of Social Services ADULT and SENIOR CARE Residential Care Provider Stakeholder Participation our goal is to connect communities whose work focused on reducing homelessness. We as Ca Care Association and a member of The LB Homeless Coalition of individuals and organizations in Long Beach, California, who are committed to addressing homelessness in the community. The group holds regular meetings to discuss strategies, initiatives, and progress in their efforts to help people experiencing homelessness. As part of our work is to connect and reinforce existing programs and new services, through the Community Expansion Program we can educate prospective providers and existing providers of Funding resources available.
After a period of holding meetings virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the LB Homeless Coalition has recently announced their return to in-person meetings. This move is expected to enhance collaboration, increase community engagement, and promote a sense of unity among members.
At the upcoming meeting, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in discussions on various topics related to homelessness, share their experiences and insights, and collaborate on solutions to the challenges facing the community. The LB Homeless Coalition General Meeting welcomes anyone interested in supporting their mission to attend and contribute to the conversation. Through the BCHIP and CCE Grants the engagement with providers and communities is to increase awareness of The Expansion effort of the State of California to impact homelessness and those at risk of homelessness.
