Celebrate Pride Month with Our Free Educational Zoom Webinar

Garden Grove, CA – Join us for a special Pride Month Educational Zoom Webinar titled "Out & Well: Creating Safe and Inclusive Communities" on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM. This free event is designed to promote understanding, inclusion, and safety for LGBTQIA+ individuals in various communities, particularly in long-term care settings.

The webinar will feature two distinguished speakers who are passionate advocates for diversity, inclusion, and equity. The speakers include Vincent Rodriguez III a Los Angeles-based actor, singer, dancer, actor, educator, and mentor. Vincent has dedicated time to educating at high schools, colleges, and performing arts programs. His workshops and masterclasses cover a wide range of topics, including audition techniques, song interpretation, and on-camera auditions. Vincent is a passionate educator committed to boosting his student's self-confidence with the tools and techniques to reach their personal best.

Dr. Angelica Cortez is an advocate for diversity and inclusion, with a Doctorate in Education from USC and an MPA from the University of San Francisco. She founded LEAD Filipino and Brown Label Enterprises and has held leadership roles promoting racial justice. Recognized with several awards, including the 2021 Woman of Influence, Dr. Cortez brings extensive experience in nonprofit and community engagement.

During this Pride Month, we invite caregivers, allies, and anyone interested in learning more about LGBTQIA+ inclusion to join this webinar. Participants will gain valuable insights and practical knowledge on:
