Caregiving Basics Training III: Interdisciplinary Team

It takes a team to raise a child, and the same is true when caring for an elderly loved one or someone with a developmental disability. It can be difficult to know how to best meet their needs, and it can be hard to find the time and resources to do so.

An interdisciplinary approach to caregiving can make a big difference for both caregivers and care recipients. By working together, professionals from different backgrounds can pool their knowledge and create a comprehensive care plan that meets all of the elderly' needs.
