Caregiving Basics III: Mental Health

This training is designed to enhance the mental well-being of caregivers, enabling them to deliver more effective care to residents. Understanding the impact of mental health on both caregivers and residents, this session will focus on practical strategies for managing stress, recognizing signs of mental health issues, and applying techniques to support their own mental health.

This is crucial for maintaining a healthy environment in our facilities and ensuring that caregivers are equipped to handle the challenges of their roles with resilience and compassion. The training will provide tools and resources that caregivers can use daily, contributing to a supportive and understanding care setting.

This session is a collaborative effort with the Orange County Asian and Pacific Islander Community Alliance (OCAPICA), bringing additional expertise and cultural perspectives to enhance the training's effectiveness and reach.
