WEBINAR TRAINING

Caregiving Basics Training: Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) is a fundamental program to instruct caregivers on assisting individuals with essential daily self-care tasks. These ADLs encompass activities necessary to maintain independence and quality of life.

Assisting your residents with their ADLs is one of your core responsibilities as a caregiver. This training will give you an overview of Activities of Daily Living, and by the end of this training, you should be able to:

  • Know what Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) are

  • Know examples of basic ADLs

  • Know what Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs) are

  • Know what activities your client require

  • Be knowledgeable about the factors that may affect ADL capabilities

  • Know strategies that you can use to improve a person’s ADL capacity

If you wish to sponsor our Caregiver Basics Training, contact us at outreach@cacareassociation.org.
